Ajay Devgn and Tabu starrer Drishyam has bagged a stunning opening weekend of Rs 30.03 crores nett
(Friday-Rs 8.5 crores, Saturday– Rs 9.40 crores and Sunday– Rs 12.13 crores).
Superlative word of mouth and reports has seen a fantastic opening weekend start for this non-conventional film and distributors despite multiple challenges such as heavy rains and floods affecting the important territories of Bengal, Rajasthan and Gujarat and the Jammu region facing a bandh since three days. The astounding collections have been achieved also despite stiff competition from Bahubaali and Bajrangi Bhaijaan in theaters.
Clearly the verdict is out, people have loved and enjoyed the film and seeing their beloved actors in their common man avatar coupled with the striking power packed performances given by Ajay Devgn and Tabu starrer ,Drishyam is poised to be one of the breakthrough movies of the year!
