Watch Imran Abbas Naqvi romance Pernia Qureshi in "Champayi Rang" from the film Jaanisaar!

The makers of the upcoming pre-independence drama, Jaanisaar have released another beautiful song from the film. “Champayi Rang Yaar Aa Jaye” is a slow romantic track with soulful lyrics. The video highlights the love story between lead characters Pernia Qureshi and Imran Abbas Naqvi and has a blend of both traditional indian and Western elements with tidbits of ballroom dancing in the middle! The song has been sung by Shreya Ghoshal and Ustad Shafqat Ali Khan, who has also teamed up with Muzaffar Ali to compose the music of this song.

Jaanisaar is a period drama starring the gorgeous Pernia Qureshi and Pakistani heartthrob Imran Abbas Naqvi in lead roles. Set 20 years after the first war of Indian independence in 1857, the film essays the love story of a revolutionary courtesan of Avadh and a prince brought up in England. Jaanisaar is directed by Muzaffar Ali of cult classic Umrao Jaan fame and produced by Meera Ali.
