Shakti Kapoor will be seen in an upcoming movie based on the sensational Laila Khan murder case titled Laila. The scintillating news that rocked the entire nation will soon be made into a short film. The film is directed by Rakhi Sawant’s brother, Rakesh Sawant, who had worked with Laila in his directorial venture Wafa: A Deadly Love Story, along with the late Rajesh Khanna.
According to a source, Shakti Kapoor will be seen playing the character of Parvez Tak in the film. Parvez Tak was Laila’s step-father and later confessed to murdering the actress. Kapoor was stunned when the script was narrated to him and agreed to it immediately. The movie was shot in Assam and is currently in the post production stage. The makers are targeting Cannes for a better exposure.
