HBO’s hit show, Game Of Thrones is known for its shocking and heartbreaking deaths, but it was the one (presumed) death at the end of season five that left fans in a state of utter disbelief. Jon Snow (Kit Harington) was stabbed, apparently to death by his fellow Night’s Watchmen (who we will never, ever, ever forgive)!
Thanks to HBO (and the Pedestrian) we might actually have a clue as to Jon Snow’s fate. HBO apparently sent out an e-mail about a toy sale called, ‘Honor The Fallen: The Memoriam Collection’, which included merchandise of the departed from the beloved Game Of Thrones series. The sale included The Hound, Oberyn Martell, Joffery, etc. What it did not include was Jon Snow. I repeat, no Jon Snow.. not even a tiny bit!
Fans of course are super excited that there was no trace of Jon Snow in the sale. They (and of course us) took it as a sign that Jon Snow will be alive and kicking once season six returns. There’s no official confirmation as of yet, however, the fact that Kit Harington has kept his Jon Snow hair and beard (which he claimed he would cut as soon as his character was killed off the show) and was also spotted arriving at Belfast where Game Of Thrones is being filmed are positive signs that our boy is still alive in the show!
