13 Years of Bhansali's Devdas!

Today we celebrate Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s 2002 film Devdas!

The story is originally based on 1917 Sharat Chandra Chattopadhyay novel Devdas, Bhansali turns this story into a beautiful masterpiece of art! There’s nothing like watching a Bhansali film with epic film sets! The entire film is visually appealing and like watching a painter put his painting together live. It is so artistically beautiful.

Choosing one scene from the film would be wrong, but here is one of the many scenes of the film that gave the audience goosebumps and kept us at the edge of our seats.

How can I forget though? The three main actors of the film made a mark in cinema with their outstanding performances. The gorgeous Aishwarya Rai Bachchan as Paro is seen running after her true love from beginning to end of the film. Shahrukh Khan as Devdas goes from being a successful man to drowning in-love with his only love, Paro. And the evergreen, Madhuri Dixit as Chandramukhi who is a love-able and good hearted courtesan, who happens to fall in love with Devdas.
