UrbanAsian Profile: Vipin Sharma goes behind the camera for his Directorial Debut!

A few months ago actor Vipin Sharma flew over to Hollywood for the LA Indian International Film Festival. He stopped by Urban Asian and spoke to us about acting, film-making, working with the Khans, and his directorial debut!

Vipin Sharma has been in many films such as Taare Zameen Par, Gangs of Wasseypur, Raanjhanaa, John Day and recently was in Bullet Raja and Kick. He’s worked with Aamir Khan, Salman Khan and many other big names from the Bollywood industry. Vipin tells Urban Asian about his acting journey along with the details of how to audition in Mumbai! Vipin also tells us about his first directorial debut – Akki,Vikki Te Nikki which depicts the struggles of the struggling actors in Mumbai trying to make it big. With thousands of people coming to Mumbai every week to fulfill their dreams – he tells us a funny incident about how newcomers struggle to get a film or a commercial.
