Whoa! It seems the feud between Katy Perry and Taylor Swift is heating up pretty swiftly. Reportedly, Perry is the subject of Swift’s recently released song, Bad Blood and it seems Perry is ready to get even. She has enlisted the help of John Mayer, who has dated both of them to help her in writing a revenge song.
According to a report, a friend of Perry’s has said,
“Katy thinks revenge is a dish best served cold. She’s even more determined to show people what she calls ‘the real Taylor’, she’s writing some big, anthemic-type songs that’ll feature dirt on Taylor that John’s told her from when they used to date.”
Ouch! The feud apparently started when Perry allegedly “stole” some of Swift’s back-up dancers for her own tour a few years ago. However, Perry believes Swift did the “stealing” as she had worked with those particular back-up dancers in the past. Confusing, isn’t it?
Perry recently registered a song titled, 1984, which happens to be Swift’s birth year. So, what exactly does registering a song mean? It means that 1984 is now officially a copyrighted piece of music.
Do you think 1984 is the revenge track that Mayer and Perry are writing? Sound off in the comment section below.
