The baadshah of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan has had arthroscopic surgery on his left knee at Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital a couple of days ago. The actor has been advised rest for three to four days. He is currently at the hospital and most likely to be discharged on Friday.
This isn’t Khan‘s first surgery. He has gone through surgeries for his spine, shoulder and wrist problems. Reportedly, Khan had been suffering from pain and swelling of his left knee for the past few months. Khan’s surgeon, Dr. Sanjay Desai said,
“SRK has undergone arthroscopic surgery of his left knee at Breach Candy Hospital. Mr. Khan has been suffering from repeated pain and swelling of his left knee over the last several months. Today’s surgery confirms chondral wear of Patella, which is due to repeated injuries over the last few years. Based on today’s arthroscopic evaluation future management will be planned. He has recovered well and is likely to be discharged tomorrow.”
Khan will be on a break following his discharge before resuming work soon. We wish Shah Rukh Khan a speedy recovery!
