After much heart pounding anticipation, Kate Middleton and Prince William have finally revealed the name of their baby girl. Kensington Palace announced on Monday, May 4 that the newest member of the royal family is named Charlotte Elizabeth Diana. From here on, baby will be known as Her Royal Highness Princess Charlotte of Cambridge.
The given name is a tribute to much of the royal family and their well wishers, Charolette comes from Kate Middleton’s sister Pippa’s middle name as well as Prince William’s cousin’s first name. Elizabeth as we all know is a tribute to the Royal Queen Elizabeth of England while Diana is an ode to the Royal Baby’s late grandmother Princess Diana.
