Mahaakshay Chakraborty and Evelyn Sharma’s upcoming romantic drama, ‘Ishqedarriyaan’ was supposed to release on May 15, 2015. However, now we hear that the release date of the film has been pushed to May 29, 2015. The reason for this seems to be the response the film has received from fans all over the world. The makers of the film had organized various focus screenings for different sets of fans across various locations in India as a part of promotions. The praises garnered by the film at the screenings is what finally convinced them to push back the release date as they would require the time to get more prints for wider distribution.
Confirming the same, producer Rajesh Banga said,
“Yes, we have pushed the release date of the film. While the team traveled for promotions, they received tremendous response and love from all the fans. The response at the focus screenings was overwhelming too. Hence, we wanted to make sure we could reach out to maximum audiences so that they could watch the film& are working on getting additional prints ready.”
