The latest in star siblings, Huma Qureshi and Saqib Saleem are set to star in their upcoming film together! An adaptation of the Hollywood horror movie, Oculus, the yet un-named project will be directed by Prawaal Raman.
Saqib Saleem and Huma Qureshi will star as siblings in their latest film but unlike their loving relationship, on screen they will play siblings with a tumultuous relationship. Similar to the original, the Huma and Saqib project focuses on the story of a brother and sister who get separated in their youth because of an antique mirror. Saqib’s role is of the younger sibling who spends 12 years in a juvenile home. Speaking about the project, Saqib said,
“I am very excited for Oculus because it is the first time Huma and I will be working together. We keep talking about the movie all the time, have similar likings and finally we are coming together. Our relationship, however, is not a typical one in the film. We share an awkward sibling relationship, totally different from how we are in real life. In the film our characters detest each other, even though there is a lot of love between the two. The relationship is intense and aggressive.”
The adorable pair have a wonderful relationship and hopefully it will come across on screen!
