Nearly a decade after witnessing her as the tenacious Tashu of Kkusum, Narayani Shastri has returned with yet another negative role. The actress who has been playing an assortment of timid roles lately is happy to be back as a baddie in the upcoming love story with a twist, Piya Rangrezz.
Speaking about her character in the series Narayani commented,
“I am playing a negative character, a woman who is a don. I don’t have to cry, I don’t have to take glycerine and I am so happy about it.”
Narayani will be seen essaying the role of Bhanvari Devi,a tough UPite woman who, after the loss of her husband, takes over the small time local alcohol business and turns it into a vast empire which controls all of Uttar Pradesh.
