Actor Harshvardhan Rane started a noble initiative to raise money for young female children to help fund their education. He started with a young girl named Swati, who wants to grow up to be a doctor. On Women’s Day, Harshvardhan held a ‘garage sale’, where he sold off his own personal t-shirts that he wore in his films. All proceeds from the sale will go to fund Swati’s education. There was also a photo booth set up where fans could take pictures with Harshvardhan. They ended up raising Rs 95,000 for Swati!
Not only that, but Navdeep Singh and Dev did a music video featuring Harshvardhan in a mash-up of Bob Marley and John Lennon’s popular mash-up of No Woman No Cry. Check out the music video below.
