Fawad Khan returns to television with an epic romance!

The Fawad Khan fever that has gripped nations worldwide is not going to dissipate anytime soon, especially since Zindagi is set to bring us Waqt Ne Kiya Kya Haseen Sitam (Dastaan). Fawad has been romancing us long before he made his Bollywood debut with Khoobsurat opposite Sonam Kapoor.

The Pakistani actor won countless hearts as the flirtatious Zaroon (Zindagi Gulzar Hai) and the suave and sexy Asher (Humsafar). Waqt Ne Kiya Kya Haseen Sitam will mark Fawad’s third show on Zindagi. The show is a timeless love story set in the 1940s. It will give us an intense and passionate love story that will remind us of the likes of Romeo and Juliet, Heer and Ranjha, etc.

The show is set in the backdrop of the partition of India and Pakistan’s independence. Fawad’s character’s name is Hasan, who is madly in love with Bano (Sanam Baloch). Other than loving Sanam, Hasan is also actively involved in coming-of-age politics of his country. Hasan is as passionate about his country as he is about Sanam. The show will also revolve around the hate crimes against Muslims during the formation of Pakistan. Dastaan originally aired back in 2010 on Hum TV.
