The Gunday boys, Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor received a major backlash from the Maharastrian government for the “vulgar comments” they made during the AIB Knockout Roast.
“If the AIB Knockout Roast was vulgar and not in accordance with the law, then we will act,”
said Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.
The sensational roast which took place in Mumbai last week was attended by 4,000 people and later went viral on social media sites.
Two complaints have been filed in Mumbai alleging obscenity.
“The Christian community has given us a representation. We are looking into the legal aspects of it,”
said senior police officer S Jayakumar.
Filmmaker and activist Ashoke Pandit has triggered a controversy after he posted a tweet slamming the Youtube videos featuring Karan Johar, Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor.
