Star Plus launches the #ChalKarPehel Campaign!

With International Women’s Day (March 8th) just around the corner, India’s leading entertainment network, Star Plus has launched a unique campaign in support of women empowerment. The #ChalKarPehel campaign which was launched earlier this month in Bhopal began as a Tri-city All Women Walkathon.

The main goal of the campaign is to urge women to follow their dreams, voice their opinions, raise their voice against discrimination as well as demand equal rights, opportunities, freedom and respect from their peers. Earlier, the lead actors of Star Plus’ female centric show, Everest came out in support of the cause. The trend slowly picked up as other Star Plus leads featured in the recently released videos titled Chal Kar Pehel(Take the First Step). Divyanka Tripathi of Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, Shivin Narang and Digangna Suryavanshi of Ek Veer Ki Ardaas Veera among others have been part of this growing cause!
