There’s never a day where one of the Liars (Hanna, Spencer, Aria and Emily) aren’t threatened with jail time on Pretty Little Liars. We recently learned how Mona (Janel Parrish) orchestrated her own death, so that she could trap Alison (Sasha Pieterse) in order to gain A’s trust.
In the upcoming episodes, we will see that the Liars are now equipped with more information regarding Mona and they decide that they need to speak to Alison. However, after the truth is out there, Aria (Lucy Hale) quickly learns that Mike’s (Cody Allen Christian) involved with Mona and this new revelation could have serious repercussions for her family. The Liars are now determined to keep Mike safe and get Alison out of jail, so they renew their search for A. Spencer (Troian Bellisario) heads to London for an important college interview, while Alison turns to someone surprising for her murder trial.
With Spencer away in London enjoying her break from Rosewood, it is left up to Aria, Emily (Shay Mitchell) and Hanna (Ashley Benson) to look for a way to prove Alison’s innocence without incriminating Mike, but when the D.A. proposes a plea bargain agreement for Alison that includes naming one of the Liars as her accomplice, the girls intensify their search for A, desperate to save themselves.
Finally as Alison’s trial is starting to begin, we will see Alison not so confident about her fate as her testimony reveals not only her lies, but the lies of those close to her. Unfortunately, Hanna will be imprisoned and its up to Spencer, Aria, Emily and Caleb (Tyler Blackburn) to clear her name by following a string of clues that might have been left by Mona or possibly planted by A. Did Alison take the plea bargain and turn Hanna over? What do you think? Let us know in the comment section below.
