The sequel to the crime thriller film, Ab Tak Chappan is set to hit the theaters on February 27th, 2015, 11 years after the first film was appreciated by the audience. Ab Tak Chappan 2 will see Nana Patekar reprising the role as the Encounter Specialist, Saadhu Agashe and this time he’s back to take the count beyond chappan.
In Ab Tak Chappan 2, we will get to see Home Minister Janardhan Jagirdar along with Chief Minister Anna Saheb pledging to eradicate the menace caused by underworld dons Rawale (operating from Bangkok) and Rauf Lala (operating from Mumbai).
Using a Gandhian approach won’t solve the problem, so the Encounter Squad is brought back together to help eradicate the issues that Rawale and Rauf Lala are causing. Saadhu is reluctant to join the squad again, but on the insistence of his son, he decides to rejoin to do what he does best; remove the evils of society for good. Will an encounter squad with a clean slate manage to eradicate the issues? Will peace ever come? And if so, then at what price?
