Ugly's Papa Gives Insight into the World of a Forgotten Child

Anurag Kashyap’s critically acclaimed film Ugly created waves with it’s unique concept and bold story telling techniques. The film starring Rahul Bhat, Ronit Roy and Tejaswini Kolhapure narrates the tale of 10-year-old Kali (Anshika Shrivastava) who mysteriously vanishes from biological father’s car during on of his court ordered weekly visits.

As the mystery unravels, the film tells the tale of a distraught child best portrayed through singer Shilpa Rao’s newly released song, Papa. Penned by Gaurav Solanki and composed by GV Prakash Kumar, the heart wrenching song manages to make eyes well up within seconds.
