Karan Patel
Angry young man Karan Patel has been in the news for a number of controversies this year. The most shocking of them all was his fall out with Yeh Hai Mohababtein co-actress Divyanka Tripathi According to sources, the onscreen couples did not see eye to eye with one another initial. The issue seemed to be Karan Patel’s behavior. However, the duo has cleared all rumors and have gone on record stating that the two are indeed friends.
Gautam Gulati and Diandra Soares
Bigg Boss 8 contestants Gautam Gulati and Diandra Soares‘ proximity inside the house become a subject of national debate. The mater worsened when after spending some personal moments with Diandra, Gautam refused to acknowledge their relationship. Diandra, who was known for her bold and flamboyant avatar in the Bigg Boss house, raised many eyebrows when she smooched Gautam on national television. If this was not enough, post eviction Diandra faced horrible pregnancy rumors which left the audiences aghast.
Karishma Tanna
The once reigning queen of the Balaji Camp, Karishma Tanna faced major backlash in the Bigg Boss house. Of all the controversies and headlines, the one which stands out the most the news of her GK test on the show. During an episode of Weekend Ka Vaar, Karishma was asked a series of questions which she could not answer. This lead the nation to dub her the next Alia Bhatt of India.
Shweta Basu Prasad
Makdee and Iqbal fame Shweta Basu Prasad, who started her career as child actor on the small screen shocked everyone when her name was dragged into a prostitution racket. On her return from a rescue and rehabilitation center after two months, the child artist-turned-commercial actress opens up on the sensational soliciting charge in an interview with Mumbai Mirror. She was later acquitted of all charges.
Shaleen and Daljeet Divorce
Long time love birds Shaleen Bhanot and Daljeet Kaur announced their separation post a violence showdown in their once humble abode. Their fairytale romance came crashing down when Shaleen allegedly assaulted Daljeet in front of their toddler Sharav.
Ankita Lokhande
Balaji Telefilms Pavitra Rishta added yet another generational leap into the mix earlier this year. According to valued sources, teh reason for the leap was Ankita Lokhande’s demand to be the main lead of the series once again. Whatever Smriti Irani did, it gave her instant popularity and fame whether it was her work on the small screen or her journey in the field of politics. Though, her not being a graduate become a point of discussion for the entire country, Smriti Irani – the HRD Minister seemed unaffected by it.
Veena Malik
Controversy’s favorite child Veena Malik seemed to have bid her adieu to undue rumors when she decided to marry and settle down. However, little did she know that she will be making headlines even when away from the limelight. The Pakistani model-turned-actress who became a household name in India post her stint in the Bigg Boss house, chose to give up her career and settle down with her husband, Asad Bashir Khan. However, she once again came to the limelight when she, her businessman husband and the CEO of a Pakistani media house, Mir Shakilur-Rahman, were sentenced to 26 years of imprisonment by an anti-terrorism court. Veena has appealed to The High Court for another hearing.

Actors Karan Singh Grover and Jennifer Winget have been treading rocky roads for quiet sometime but when Jennifer Winget announced o the micro-blogging site Twitter that she and Karan have officially split, the news came as a sudden shock to fans.
