Earlier this year, Sunny Brown announced to all the Culture Shock fans that he was working on his solo album. Soon after the announcement, he released his first single “Ik Gal,” which showcased a new Punjabi sound he was working on. Now, with the second single “Teri Yaad Mein,” Sunny is showing off his vocal skills with a more subdued heart-wrenching ballad. The song is available to purchase on iTunes.
At its core, “Teri Yaad Mein” is the story of losing the one you love and living with his/her memories. That person can never be forgotten. The video visualizes this sentiment with a lone Sunny Brown lost in memories.
“I had a lot of success with Culture Shock and I loved the music we made however it was a collaboration of all three members and every artist has a yearning to express themselves. Sunny Brown Sessions is my first endeavor at a solo album and I’m loving every minute of making it. This album is truly reflective of the emotional ride I had this last year. I hope fans can relate to it and realize they are not alone.”
