International promotions and marketing has seen the forefront of Bollywood movies these days. In the recent past UTV has brought out big Indian ventures such as Chennai Express & Kick to the global market. Video press conferences have taken over the circuit of physically being present, saving both time and money whilst keeping the flow of question/answer and interaction between press and the film stars. Shah Rukh Khan for Chennai Express & Salman Khan for Kick both had successful video press conferences in New York City and the trend continues with Aamir Khan for one of this year’s biggest releases, PK.
Bryant Hotel was venue for the press conference organized by the generous folks over at UTV Motion Pictures. As it was early morning in NYC and evening in Mumbai, India, Aamir Khan addressed the South Asian media of New York in regards to his latest upcoming release of Rajkumar Hirani’s PK. The film also stars Anushka Sharma, Sushant Singh Rajput, Saurabh Shukla & Boman Irani. Slated for a December 19th release, the film is undoubtedly one of the most awaited films of 2014.
Khan tells the media that just getting into the head of the character and providing himself to it wasn’t a simple task at all. His personification of the main character as portrayed in the film will be a treat to everyone watching. The team that brought you the Munnabhai series & 3 Idiots bring something totally different and fresh to the screens in 2014. Khan didn’t reveal much about the character and how the storyline opens up, fair enough, we along with everyone else shall find out shortly as it hits theaters worldwide next Friday.
