Rax Timyr Productions chose to start off their journey with covers with a simple rendition of ‘Dil Se Sil Tak Baat Pahunchi‘ from Sonu Nigam’s debut album ‘Deewana’ (1999) and within just a week have received an immense amount of love and support from many listeners and fans for their style of delivery.

Following this great feedback, they were inspired to pick ‘LUKA CHUPPI’ from super hit 2006 Bollywood movie ‘Rang De Basanti’, a song that has touched many hearts with a powerful message behind the emotions carried from a mother to her offspring.

This cover features one of the UK’s finest young percussionists Shri Gadhvi on tabla and Rax Timyr on piano, beatboxing and backing vocals. Featuring the distinctly soothing yet unyielding vocal delivery by Ambika Jois as she interprets both Lata Mangeshkar and AR Rahman’s sections of this song, Rax Timyr Productions are aiming for a new cognisance on their musical style.
