Brooklyn Shanti says "Jotho Kotha"

Quickly following up his fall album release, Bedstuyle, Brooklyn Shanti returns with a Bengali language tropical bass EP. “Johto Kotha” loosely translates to “whatever they say”, and finds Shanti toasting on the subject matter of putting differences aside and working it out on the dancefloor no matter what people may say.

The EP features a moombahton mix by Rhythm and Culture Music co-founder, Thomas Blondet, and a dancehall remix by fellow Cumba Mela member, Thornato. Also included is the formerly unavailable track, “You Want More”, which was featured exclusively on Spotify as a bonus track for Blondet’s Future World album. The video for “Johto Kotha” was shot in Washington D.C. by both Shanti and Blondet and features an appearance by Smoking Zippers.
