In 2009 when Salman Khan started CCL with Sohail Khan and Sunil Shetty, they certainly must not have thought that CCL will extend from a 4 film industry collaboration to 8 film industries and be the biggest league to help the cause of the needy. CCL in association with Hrudaya foundation will take care of 100 children suffering from heart problems, this season.
In a recent conference, Sohail Khan mentioned that he will soon start a Women’s volleyball team. When asked Sohail if this is right time to involve female celebs, he says,
“yes, this is the right time, even we are thinking there should be a team of female celebs. It’s difficult to predict if they have any interest in cricket or not but we are planning that we should start female volleyball matches on the level of CCL. We hope we can start it by next year.”
By the looks of it, this venture will be equally successful amongst the actresses because Mumbai Heroes brand ambassador Huma Qureshi already showed her interest in his volleyball team
