An argument between long time buddies Saif Ali Khan and Sajid Khan turned nasty, post the release of ‘Humshakals’ four months ago. Considering the fact that movie went on to make a decent domestic business of about 70 cr nett, such a reaction from Saif seemed to be quite unlikely.
However, Saif has had a change of heart. He decided to let bygones be bygones and chose to personally meet Sajid. The duo hugged each other with Saif quick to apologize and explain that he never quite meant to sound harsh.
“It was emotional,” says Saif, adding, “I really do love Sajid like a brother.”
The actor went on to reveal how much he missed Sajid during Diwali because they both used to occasionally hang out on holidays over a game of cards in which Sajid was quite a good player.
With regards to his wife Kareena’s reaction towards this development the Nawab said
“Believe me! I even had five dreams about Sajid. I had been telling Kareena about it. She, too, was happy when I made up with him.”
Recalling the amazing experiences the cast had on the sets of ‘Humshakals’ the actor said
“I must confess that Riteish, Sajid and I laughed the maximum on and off the sets of this film. We’ve bonded beyond the sets and these guys are close to me.”
On being asked about their patch up, Sajid stated,
“Work is temporary but friendship lasts forever. I’m so happy that Saif and I kissed and made up. We are like-minded people and just like he missed having me in his life, I missed him too. Frankly, I don’t think either of us laughs so much with anyone else as we do when he, Riteish and I are together.”
Looks like these two have decided to move on and patch things up! Can’t hold grudges forever now!
