Over $100,000 raised of $250,000 Kickstarter Goal for Muck prequel

Horror movies are a very unique genre, and director Steve Wolsh, wants to continue to keep them coming in his distinct style.  Anchor Bay will be releasing MUCK in theaters Friday the 13th, March 2015.   Fans of the film and genre will be happy to know that Steve Wolsh isn’t waiting around to start pre-production on the prequel to the film, MUCK. Wolsh is committed to independent, old-school horror film-making with no CGI, and since no studio would allow him to make films the way he wants – bloody, dangerous and disturbing – he’s turned to Kickstarter to get the ball rolling, and horror fans are responding.

The Muck Kickstarter page boasts of a ton of epic rewards.  The biggest ones being a walk-on role in the film, or the chance to even be KILLED (onscreen) by Kane Hodder. There’s also plenty of autographed posters, personalized tweets, vines, and recorded messages from the Muck cast available, including the 2012, 2013, and 2014 Playboy Playmates of the Year Jaclyn Swedberg, Raquel Pomplun and Kennedy Summers.  Beyond such rewards are also some hot opportunities including tickets to a MUCK screening on Saint Patrick’s Day at the Playboy Mansion, a week in the MUCK house in Cape Cod, MUCK red carpet premiere tickets, and lots more MUCK SWAG, including t-shirts, MUCK U jerseys, and Muck shot glass. A pledge of just $25 gets backers their choice of DVD or Blu-ray copy of “MUCK“, and you’ll receive it before it ever hits theaters (sorry, Anchor Bay!). Backers at this level will also receive an email copy of the “MUCK” script; a special “Thank You” mention on the “MUCK” Twitter and in the “MUCK” Prequel movie credits; and a digital download of the “MUCK” Prequel when it’s released.  Two lucky backers of this reward level or higher will be chosen to attend the “MUCKPremiere Party at the Playboy Mansion next March.

The prequel, titled MUCK: Feast of Saint Patrick will be be shot in “Bloody Stunning” 4K Ultra HD, just like the original MUCK, and again be full of incredible stunts, without the use of any CGI- that is, with your help!  Head over to Kickstarter http://bit.ly/MuckKickstarter, and please “Give a Muck” if you can.
