To survive in the music world one really needs to stand out. Lord Munmeet, a young and fresh Punjabi music talent hailing from Glasgow, Scotland, stood out on his debut singles – ‘Roki Na‘ and ‘Saun Rab Di‘. The bar was immediately set high Today, October 9th, Munmeet is set to unleash his brand new release, the dark, edgy and infectious ‘Jadoo Toona‘, which is available on iTunes (purchase here).
‘Jadoo Toona‘ sees Lord Munmeet team up with fellow Scottish Bhangra artists and maestro producers Tigerstyle, who add their electronic touch to Munmeet’s slick Punjabi vocals. ‘Jadoo Toona‘ is Lord Munmeet’s second single alongside Tigerstyle after his debut ‘Roki Na,‘ which went straight into the Top 10 iTunes world chart. His collaboration with DJ Surinder Rattan ‘Saun Rab Di’ was also a big hit in 2013, as Munmeet continues his musical progress delivering fresh and unique tracks.
At the age of 22, Munmeet has already stepped foot in the industry with a promising debut and now his 3rd single will show another side to this talented young singer. The brother of singer Rameet (‘Kuriya‘) and with a background of Bhangra dancing in his blood it is only natural for Munmeet to be so passionate about singing and dancing. The former Bhangra dancer launched his first album at the age of 10 with sister Rameet called ‘Dil Milde‘ which was well received by fans across the world. Their debut single ‘Jatt Ludhinane De‘ launched 12 years ago and since then both siblings are well ahead on the ladder of success.
The release of ‘Jadoo Toona‘, a stand out Punjabi-electro dance fusion, opens the latest chapter for the young and talented Lord Munmeet. Let us know what you think!
