Sahdev Media and Kesh K Music are proud to present Kesh K with his debut solo single “Bhula Na Sakey” releasing October 16th 2014. Kesh, born and raised in Bedfordshire, is armed with the knowledge of vocal, tabla, harmonium, writing and composing! What is most amazing is that he is only 25 years old, and so, has a long and amazing journey ahead of him! Kesh is an outstanding versatile artist who has not only gained a large fan base from his viral singing videos, but also from his first Live Session that was launched earlier this year.

Kesh K’s debut solo single “Bhula Na Sakey” is a soulful Bollywood/Ghazal/Sufi style ballad that will touch many hearts. Kesh took full control of this project by writing it, composing it, and also playing the tabla and harmonium on it. The piano, production and arrangement were done by a talented musician/producer from Canada named Gagan Singh. The lyrics for “Bhula Na Sakey” portray an essence of heart break and never ending love. The song is based in Raag Charukeshi as he felt this raag suited the mood best.
Music runs in Kesh’s blood, as his father, Om Kaushal, who is also a singer, inspired the young talent to pursue his musical dream. Kesh’s father started training him in singing from the age of 3 but realized a base in other areas of music, especially rhythm, is necessary. So, from the age of 10, Kesh went on to learn tabla from his Guru Shri Anil Bhagwat. Kesh’s Guru provided a great platform for his musical development, which led to him to start performing from age 11. As Kesh progressed, at the age of 16, he furthered his training from arguably the UK’s finest tabla maestro, Ustad Shahbaz Hussain.
In 2009 India, Kesh was introduced to a music lecturer from Apeejay College of Fine Arts – the late Geeta Dutt. She suggested that Kesh return to India to perform at Punjab’s most prestigious and oldest Indian classical music event: Harivallabh Sangeet Samelan. This was a turning point in Kesh’s life as this led to him leaving university and taking up music full time.
