Just when you thought Bollywood PR guru Dale Bhagwagar has his tentacles in Bigg Boss 8 limited to his PR clients Sonali Raut and Aarya Babbar, here comes a new revelation.
In response to a Twitter post about Bigg Boss, showing Sonali shifting loyalties from Gautam Gulati to Upen Patel, Dale replied,
“It’s alright. I built Brand Upen too. Sonali knows that. I handled his PR for the first two years of his career… right from his first mention in the Indian media, till branding him as a supermodel. Sab ke sab mere hi hai. :P” (sic). OMG!
Earlier, there was such a hullabaloo about Dale’s other client Aarya Babbar with Minissha Lamba, when the publicist admitted in the media that “they had a thing for each other in the past.”
Then, as if echoing Dale’s words, Aarya revealed on Bigg Boss that Minissha had been his “girlfriend”. At the time, the publicist had mentioned that he had advised Aarya not to respond to Minissha’s messages and calls before Bigg Boss, as that is against the rules of the reality show.
Though that did not stop the spin doctor from being in touch with Minissha himself. Yes! You heard it right! Dale had also revealed on social media that he was in touch with Minissha too regarding PR before the show, without informing her that he was signed up with Aarya.
Now this past PR connection of Dale with Upen, makes us wonder if the Upen-Sonali romance has been pre-planned and scripted! Could it be a PR job? Only one person can answer.
Psst: Btw, did we tell you that according to the publicist’s own admission on Twitter, he has also known Ali Quli Mirza from a few years and spoke to him before Ali made his Wild Card entry in Bigg Boss. He even had brief interactions with Karishma Tanna, Natasha Stankovic, Sushant Divgikar, and had messaged Punnet Issar. Earlier, he has interacted with Pritam too. Gosh! Feels like omnipresence!
