There is no doubt that Dia Mirza is one of the most stunning actresses of our times. When she debuted, she was instantly compared to Aishwarya Rai in terms of beauty and look. However, she managed to escape from Aishwarya’s shadow as, the more events and films she did, the more people realized she was a graceful beauty in her own right. This year, she will be marrying the love of her life, filmmaker Sahil Sangha. Pictures have been released from her Mehndi ceremony, one of the pre-wedding events of a Hindu marriage. At the Mehndi, which was held on Thursday, Mirza she donned a lovely Ritu Kumar outfit, which looked absolutely flawless on her.
Regarding the design, Kumar had to say the following,
“The neck is deep and worked in embroidered gota Patti on net, like the technique used at the time. The gold metallic taar used is of silver worked in gold thread and dori, to give it a stylised plant inlay look. Each panel is highlighted with a flowering buta. The odhni is fuschia worked with small butis of the same beaten gold gota patti, a fuschia brocade deep sinjaf finishes the edges of the outfit.”
Before her Mehndi ceremony, Dia tweeted,
“Mehendi hain rachne waali :)”
She then added a picture of both of them and wrote,
“With my happiness 🙂 thank you to all those who have conveyed such warm messages here. Sahil and I are grateful.”
