Although the world mostly associates Bollywood with Indian Cinema, there are many other regional films that come out year to year. Marathi Cinema has been gaining ground in recent times and has coming up with some very unique films. One such film is TAPAAL.

Watch child actor Rohit Utekar in this promo from this upcoming Marathi movie TAPAAL. The film centers on a the emotions of a postman visiting a remote rural village and a school-going boy called Rangya. During earlier times, there were very few educated individuals in any village such as a teacher, Patwari, and a postman. They were therefore worthy of honor and respect in the village. It is with this thread of the bonding between villagers and the postman that makes up the story of TAPAAL.
In addition to Rohit Utekar, the movie also stars Nandu Jadhav, Veena Jamkar, Milind Gunaji, Urmila Kanetkar, Ganga Gogavale, Shailesh Kadam, Umesh Jagtap, Ketaki Saraf, Nandu Gadgil, Jaywant Wadkar, Shaila Kanekar, Pundalik Dhumal, Suhas Shirsat, Janardan Parab and Ratnakar Deshpande.
Directed by Laxman Utekar, produced by Varsha Madhusudan Satpalkar, TAPAAL is set to release on 26th September, 2014.
