Amongst all the mad-hog comedies and big-bannered grandiose, JIGARIYAA is like a ray of hope. And let’s not forget with a story of new and young romance, almost always comes great success, be it Aamir Khan and Juhi Chawla’s QAYAMAT SE QAYAMAT TAK or even Salman Khan and Bhagyashree’s MAINE PYAR KIYA.
After the success of Tanu Weds Manu, producer Vinod Bachchan, is launching two newcomers Harshvardhan Deo and Cherry Mardia in JIGARIYAA, who will have that same charm and chemistry we have witnessed in those great love stories.
When asked director Raj Purohit about launching new comers, he says,
“Taking new comers in the film somewhere maintains the innocence a love story requires unlike an established actor’s image that defuses it. That’s why I cast HARSHVARDHAN and CHERRY as their innocence and personality bring out the characters of SHAMMU AND RADHA come alive so beautifully on the screen that you fall in love with them instantly.
Wave cinemas Ponty Chadha present A Soundarya Production’s, ‘Jigariyaa’, directed by Raj Purohit, produced by Raju Chadha & Vinod Bachchan, starring Harshvardhan Deo and Cherry Mardia along with Virendar Saxena, K.K. Raina, Navni Parihar, Natasha Rastogi, Vineeta Malik, Deepak Chadha, Kettan Singh, is slated for 10th October 2014 release.
