Bollywood Music What's Happenin'

It takes a 'Ziddi Dil' to complete a powerful workout!

Gym junkies have found a new rush of adrenaline in the form of a song. Ziddi Dil from Priyanka Chopra’s upcoming sports biopic Mary Kom is fast becoming gym members’ favourite song to train to. Speaking of intense dedication and an undying will to go on and on, the song has the kind of music that makes you want to push harder and work off the build-up of energy it generates.

“Gymming is not easy. You need something to make you go on and nothing works like music. Ziddi Dil has just the right combination of grit, peppiness and positivity to motivate you through a rigorous gym session,”

said a representative from a leading chain of gyms in Delhi.

“The best part about Ziddi Dil is that it perks you up and pushes you to work out without making you get aggressive or angry, and that is ideal,”

says an eminent fitness guru from Mumbai.

Sports training academies around the country seem to be following the same trend. “We need to pep up our trainees. Training involves getting defeated over and over again. Good music is a must to keep up the mood, to make them want to go on and on,” said a trainer from a prominent sports academy in Patiala.

It appears that Ziddi Dil is the new gym anthem after Bhaag Milkha Bhaag’s title track. Fans have expressed their love on social networks with tweets like “Listening to #Ziddidil on a loop!! @priyankachopra My fav track 4rm #MaryKom everytime I listen to it, makes me invigorated:)”and “@TeamPriyanka Blasting #Ziddidil in the gym is the best! Feel like I can get anything done and do anything. My energy booster!” By the looks of it, Ziddi Dil is set to be the gym-goers’ long-term sacred song.
