Madhu Mantena is one of the most discerning producers of Bollywood. For instance, even though Mantena hasn’t produced Haider, he was an integral cog in the machinery that has worked hard to make this film happen!
At the recent music launch of Haider on Radio Mirchi, both Shahid Kapoor and Vishal Bharadwaj acknowledged his contribution towards the film. In fact, they went so far as to say that he played a key role in getting the project off the ground. He also egged the the gorgeous Shraddha Kapoor to sign on board for the project.
Haider is a an ambitious movie that requires visionaries like Mantena to make it a reality. It is rare to find a producer capable of appreciating the finer nuances of such a film while maintaining the ability to cut through the unnecessary red-tape of big production houses. He is an asset to the Bollywood fraternity and cinema-goers alike!
