There is no doubt that we all love Kunal Nayyar as the loveable Rajesh Koothrappali on CBS’s hit TV sitcom, the “Big Bang Theory.” Now, Kunal is set to gain even more fans with his upcoming film “Dr. Cabbie.” The film centers around an unemployed immigrant doctor turned cab driver who becomes a local hero when he converts his taxi into a mobile clinic. “Dal Makhani” is the first song release from the feature, and gives you a taste (pun intended) of what the movie will be like.
“Dr. Cabbie” is directed by Jean-Francois Poulliot and has a very unique cast featuring Vinay Virmani, Lilette Dubey, Adrianne Palicki, Kunal Nayyar, Mircea Monroe, Rizwan Manji (of “Outsourced” fame), Chris Diamantopoulos and Isabelle Kaif (Katrina Kaif’s sister). The movie is produced by FirstTake Entertainment and Caramel Films.
