Always full of surprises, Mehndi is now back with a Marathi Devotional Song! The track, ‘Morya Morya,’ is a tribute to Lord Ganesha and features in the upcoming Marathi movie Janiva! Daler Mehndi was extremely excited to record his first Marathi track. It was perfect for him since he is a very big believer in God. He tells us,
“This is my first Marathi song and I am really looking forward to see the reactions of my fans. There is nothing more exciting than singing a song dedicated to our Lord Ganesha.”
Janiva’s producer Srman Jain met Daler Mehndi on the sets of a TV show and decided to rope him in for the song. He complimented Dalerji by calling him an amazing singer and added that the singer’s strong voice is apt for the song. After recording his first Marathi song, Dalerji tweeted,
“It was an absolute #fun recording #Marathi Song for the first time, I am sure the song is going to rule charts.”
