Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt, both of whom made their acting debut in Karan Johar’s ‘Student Of The Year’, would be seen together on the big screen in their upcoming film ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania’. When Varun was asked about his experience of working with his SOTY co-actor Alia again, he replied saying that three-film old Ali has improved as an actor.
“There is a marked difference in her. She has not changed as a person but she has improved as an actor. She is far better now and I really enjoyed working with her,” Varun said.
When he was asked about what made him choose this film, the 27-year-old actor said,
“I am always looking for characters that are crazy and different because they stand out. To be named Humpty is very interesting in a love story. People are bored of watching normal love stories. I hope HUMPTY… becomes the best love story of the year.”
The actor further said that he is yet to show the film to his filmmaker father, David Dhawan, but is looking forward to his opinion.
“My dad is glad that the trailers and the songs have been liked well but I am yet to show him the film. I will come to know what he thinks,” he said.
When asked if he gets an honest feedback from his father the actor replied,
“Very honest. Sometimes I think it is too honest.”
