It’s finally happening! After so many years Salman Khan has finally got his wish! Looks like he will be starring in a Karan Johar film! What took him so long to ask Salman Khan we wish we knew! Salman Khan has revealed that he will be a part of filmmaker and friend Karan Johar’s ambitious project ‘Shuddhi’, which has been in the news for a long time now. While taking to the reporters at a press conference for his upcoming Eid release ‘Kick’, Salman said that he will be a part of one of Karan Johar’s. When asked which film that would be, he replied, “Shuddhi”.
Interestingly Salman has replaced Bollywood hunk Hrithik Roshan in the role. It is to be noted that last year, Hrithik Roshan had walked out of the project citing date issues. The film was already delayed as Hrithik was recuperating from a brain surgery after which he gave his bulk dates for the film ‘Bang Bang’. Soon after, SHUDDHI’s lead actress Kareena Kapoor Khan also left the film!
And Karan Johar too confirmed the news of Salman being roped in for ‘Shuddhi’ yesterday morning. Karan tweeted,
“‘Shuddhi’will star Salman Khan and will release Diwali 2016…..@shhuddhimovie.” Salman Khan was a part of Karan Johar’s directorial debut ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’.
Meanwhile, we also came to know that cupid has finally struck bachelor Salman! Yes… and it’s none other than comedian Kiku Sharda, more popularly known as funny female character Palak, who is also a part of the dance reality show ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’ 7.
Buzz is that the show will have Salman Khan as the celebrity guest this week and the 48-year-old superstar will apparently take Palak away with him as he is in awe of her. A statement from the channel revealed,
“Salman will declare on national television that cupid has finally struck and his true love is none other than the ever popular ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’ contestant Palak.”
Apparently Salman will visit the sets of the show to promote his Eid release ‘Kick’ which features Jacqueline Fernandez as the female lead.
