We weren’t sure if this was an English film or a Hindi movie by watching the trailer, but we do know this movie is all about finding someone named ‘Fanny‘. In her first Bollywood film since joining the 100 crore club a record-breaking four times last year, superstar Deepika Padukone returns to the big screen leading an all-star cast in the English-language comedy FINDING FANNY which releases in theaters across North America on September 12.Check out the new theatrical trailer!
Directed by Homi Adajania (Being Cyrus, Cocktail), the Goa-set tale also stars Arjun Kapoor (2 States) along with veteran actors Naseeruddin Shah, Dimple Kapadia, and Pankaj Kapoor with a special appearance by Ranveer Singh. Arjun Kapoor plays Dimple Kapadia’s son,a charming old lady who can “protect herself” and is capable of finding love, (or so it seems) in Pankaj Kapoor. Naseeruddin Shah wants to find his ‘Fanny’ — Stephanie Fernandes and everyone else joins him on the way. This comedy looks like one you don’t want to miss!
