Does Alia not want to work with the Khans?

Alia Bhatt seems to be picking and choosing her co-stars lately and letting the media know she doesn’t want to work with the Khans but just the main three Khans of Hindi Cinema. Why though? Her age might not just fit the criteria. She is one of the youngest in Bollywood and the age is just to far apart for her to be doing roles with the Khans. Good choice Bhatt, it’s true! In our opinion, a girl like Alia just wouldn’t look like right playing a role romancing a Khan who is nearly double her age! Alia Bhatt is only 21-years-old but the youngest of the Bhatt clan surely has a strong opinion! It’s noted that though the young actress is just 21, Bollywood’s reigning Khans are in their late 40s! The actress is yet to team up with the likes of Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and Aamir Khan.

In a recent interview she stated:

“I am right now definitely (young) because I look small not age wise, age is just a number, but my face. I am just maturing right now – from ‘Student Of The Year’ till now you can see a difference.”

“So, when I become a little more matured looking, then it can work. But having said that I have done a film with Randeep Hooda, in which I looked too young without make-up, which didn’t look bad at all. So if there is a scope or a character and a role like that then it will work,” Alia added.

Fortunately, the four-film old actress has got a good response both from the audience and at the box office. After hitting a hat trick at the box office with her first three films doing good – ‘Student Of The Year’, ‘Highway’ and ‘2 States’, she recently appeared in ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania’, which also got a favorable response at the box office. But Alia says that success and accolades bring a lot of pressure with them. On being asked if she feels under pressure after doing so well in Bollywood, the actress said,

“Yes, I am constantly under pressure because goodness becomes a burden on your shoulders so do the flops. So with every film, no matter how bad or good, there would be pressure.” Hmm… it’s wisely said ‘With great power, comes great responsibility’.
