Monty Kataria doesn’t just host and write for Urban Asian, this multi talented rising star also hosts live events like the Diwali in Times Square event in NYC, is a part of film festivals like the New York Indian Film Festival, he acts and even sings a little. As the son of a member of the Indian Foreign Service, Kataria, spent his childhood moving from one country to another. He was born in Delhi, then He spent time in Cambodia, Switzerland and the U.K. after finally coming to New York City, about ten years ago. In New York City is when he finally finished high school, college and graduate school.
