Bollywood beauty Vidya Balan has followed in the footsteps of India’s esteemed Prime Minister Narendra Modi by visiting one of the same tea stalls that Mr Modi worked at as a boy with his father and brother, during her recent visit to Gujarat, India.
In a scene reminiscent of Modi’s ‘Chai pe Charcha’ (tea and discussion) during the recent Indian General Elections, which many credit for helping him to connect with his key electorate, Vidya too staged her own promotional ‘Jasoosi Charcha’ to engage with her fans ahead of her film Bobby Jasoos release on 4th July 2014.
