Over the last few days people have been bashing a few cricket players and well we all know who won fair and square! But one actor or should I say comedian decided to make a play out of it! The rib tickling stand-up act, ‘Battle of Da Sexes’, presented by Ashvin Gidwani Productions (AGP) and written and performed by Vir Das, recently saw a FULL HOUSE despite it being the day of India vs. Sri Lanka World T20 finals. Entertainment, AGP style, was clearly given preference over the nail-biting cricket match.
‘Battle of Da Sexes’ involves an age old battle between men and women and promises to leave the audience in splits. The show has been designed in an interesting fashion. For couples only, it has a unique seating arrangement, with women on one side and men on the other. The performance that night witnessed a hilarious verbal battle between the two genders, as they defended their own.
Actor Sharman Joshi and the stunning Sameera Reddy accompanied by her husband, were spotted having a good time watching the show. The talented actor Sharman Joshi also took time out to express his appreciation for the rousing act. ‘Battle of Da Sexes’ will be staged next at Science City, Kolkata on Saturday 12th April, 2014 at 7pm.
