If anyone asks you to name a group from the UK Desi Scene of the early 2000s, the first name that will come to mind is that of the “Rishi Rich Project.” The group featured music producer Rishi Rich, Jay Sean, and Juggy D. This trio produced the chart-buster “Dance With You (Nachna Tere Naal),” which became an instant sensation around the world.

After 2007, the three boys decided to focus on their solo careers instead. They all were highly successful in their own ways. Rishi Rich continued to produce amazing songs. Jay Sean became an international name and tasted fame in the US with his hit “Down” getting onto Billboard’s Hot 100. Juggy D went onto release some more bhangra and punjabi hits.
