Rajev Paul may have stolen hearts as an actor on television, but he has truly solidified his place in fans’ hearts as a poet. Paul shot to fame as an actor on television for hit shows like “Swabhimaa,” “Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki,” “Aati Rahengi Baharen,” among many others. He also gained an additional following as one of the contestants on reality show “Bigg Boss 6” (see our interview here). However, Paul’s true calling seems to be poetry, as exemplified by his collection of Hindi poems that he published in 2012, called “Mumbai Mohabbat Aur Tanhai” (translated as “Mumbai, Love, and Loneliness”).
One of Paul’s most popular poems from the book is “Uljha Sa Rehta Hu.” We had earlier reported that the poem had been made into a song – see article here. Now, the poem has been made into a video, with Rajev Paul himself providing the lyrics, recital, and acting. The song and music is by Vineet Malhotra, with the sound arrangement by Rajan Adlakha. The video is directed by Sujay Shetty, cinematography is by Sushil Rajpal, and is edited by Asif. Check out the video and let us know what you think!
