Actress Kashish Singh chose to have a special Christmas celebration this year, with the residents of Swagat Ashram in Malwani. The actor took upon the role of Santa for its residents, ensuring there were only happy faces this festive season.
All members of the ashram were delighted with the gifts and Kashish’s presence, as they enthusiastically cut a Christmas cake with the gorgeous actor. Kashish was elated with the warm welcome, as the elders in the ashram showered her with good wishes. Kashish mingled with the residents of the ashram. Talking about the celebration, an excited Kashish stated
“Christmas is all about smiles, family and togetherness. There couldn’t have been a better way to celebrate this festival than by spending time with these cheerful kids and warm elderly folks. The love I have received has been overwhelming and I am sure I will be visiting them again, soon.”
Kashish was touched by the love showered on her by everyone in the Ashram, and has decided to repeat this experience every year. Swagat Ashram is a charitable trust in Mumbai inspired by Jesus Christ’s unconditional love for humanity and his forgiveness, and Mother Teresa’s phenomenal service to poor.
