To kick of the year, she will be seen in Viacom18 Motion Pictures’ upcoming film, “Queen.” The official trailer just launched, and based on the teaser and preview we are given, there is no doubt that fans will fall in love with her role as the bubbly Rani. If fans loved her in the wedding flick, “Tanu Weds Manu,” they will most definitely love her in “Queen.” Moreover, Kangana has penned the dialogue for the character, so fans will get exposure to another facet of Kangana’s talent!
Rani is a typical desi girl who is shy, nervous and excited about her wedding, all at the same time. Clad in simplicity, Rani is one lovable character who lights up the screen with her absolute innocence. Kangana Ranaut, who plays the role of Rani, has portrayed the role impeccably, making it easy for the audience to connect with her. The trailer catches one’s curiosity with a twist that Rani faces on her wedding day, which leads to her going on her honeymoon all by herself, changing her forever.
Directed by Vikas Bahl and under the banner of Viacom18 Motion Pictures, ‘Queen‘ is scheduled for release on February 28, 2014.
