Subhash Ghai, the Showman of the Indian film industry, has ventured into Punjabi film industry. Ghai is best known for hit films such as Taal, Pardes, and Karz. Double Di Trouble will be the first Punjabi film he has produced.
Double Di Trouble, directed by Smeep Kang, is a film based on the Comedy of Errors in which Shakespeare’s well known play takes a desi spin. A father-son pair discover their mirror images in another city. Confusion and hilarity ensue when everyone keeps mixing them up! The situation becomes even more complicated when the pairs try to find a reasonable explanation by acting like old pals.
This film stars two of the Punjabi film industry’s favorite stars: Dharmendra, Gippy Grewal, Minisha Lamba, Ragini Khanna and Poonam Dhillon. Will you be checking out this hilarious film? Let us know in a comment below!
