Singer Navin's charitable work will leave a 'Smile' on your face!

As you all know, we at UrbanAsian love supporting charities and hearing about stars doing charitable work! The latest celeb to do continue to focus on charity is UK’s singing sensation, Navin Kundra. Navin teamed up with Wishful Smiles, along with Harrow Sikh Network and City Sikhs Network to partake in Sewa (“charity/doing good”) Day on the 6th October 2013! Additionally, MP Barry Gardiner supported this wonderful cause.

Senior citizens at the Kenbrook nursing home were treated with talk, tasty treats, and tea! Navin Kundra gave an exceptional performance, engaging and entertaining the elderly. His charm and beautiful nature got them all smiling and singing to his songs! Bollywood dance performances were also done to entertain the elderly.

Volunteers from Wishful Smiles held a Question and Answer session regarding the importance of seva at the Brent Sikh Centre, which was very helpful to the youths that attended. The youth were engaged in discussions on what sewa means to them. Charity clothes, toys and book collections were also donated very generously by the locals at Brent Sikh Center.
